Bastard.

Kill Bill being one of my favorite movies I have high expectations for this one. They turned out to be different though.

The Basterds prepare to carve their next masterpiece.

Inglourious Basterds is a realistic movie, unlike Kill Bill where you sometimes have to suspend your disbelief(try punching your way out of your grave). Why am I even comparing these two? They are different movies. Moving on.

This is a film about Nazis and Jews duking it out in France. Most of the actors are just background characters. Although this is one long movie(for its kind) some of the scenes here are truly memorable. Just prepare to sit most of the time with long dialogues with this one. In the end, its worth it.

Dr. Parnassus cures insomnia!

Watching The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus is a mercurial affair. The visuals on the fantasy set pieces are great, but the story is either incoherent, undecided, or both at the same time. A shame really, since this film also stars the late Heath Ledger, and his character here is really undecipherable, so to sum it he is actually not engaging. All the characters too. You couldn't care less what happened to anyone of them. The "imaginarium" is the strongest suite of the movie. The imaginations of the people here are really colorful, which is ironic seeing as to how bland the story is. Shame, this movie could have been better.

Terry Gilliam looks like Gandalf  though. Haha.

The Devil is actually a reasonable person here. Wow.
